Fokker.
Fokker is a Dutch aircraft manufacturer that has played an important role in the history of aviation. Founded in 1912 by Anthony Fokker, the company quickly gained a reputation for innovative and reliable aircraft designs.
During World War I, Fokker became famous for its fighter planes, which were used by both the German and Dutch air forces. After the war, the company shifted its focus to commercial aviation and produced a series of successful passenger planes, including the Fokker F.VII and Fokker F.XX.
However, the company faced financial difficulties in the 1990s and ultimately went bankrupt in 1996. The Fokker brand was acquired by Stork Aerospace and later by GKN Aerospace, which still produces spare parts and provides support for Fokker aircraft.
Despite its troubled history, Fokker remains a beloved name in aviation circles and its legacy can still be seen in many of the planes flying today.
